Horse racing on behalf of the &#8216;Madras\nRace Club&#8217; is held annually as the first event of the summer season in Ooty,\nNilgiris District. Due to the \u2018corona\u2019, horse racing has not been conducted for\ntwo years. The current horse race will take place from the 14th until the 14th\nof June. There are 420 horses from Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore, Mysore,\nHyderabad and Kolkata. There will be 30 jockeys and 30 coaches.
